MUMBAI, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Indian soybean futures ended down on Friday as rains in the oilseed producing states raised expectations of a better output in the year ending September 2010, analysts said.
The commodity had partially recovered in late afternoon session, triggered by good buying in the spot market and firm Malaysian palm.
Rainfall in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat, the country's top three oilseeds producers, have boosted crop prospects and subdued prices.
More rains are expected over Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra and Gujarat during next 48 hours, the weather department said in a forecast.
