Aug 31 (Reuters) - India's rice and oilseed area fell on weak
monsoon rains, government data showed.
Soybean planting dipped, and area under cane was lower than
last year and remained the same since mid-July, while corn area
was up.
The details of sowing of various crops until week ended Aug.
28 vs the previous week and the total area, in million hectares,
in which crops are normally sown every year are:
