MUMBAI (Dow Jones)--India's oilmeal exports in October rose nearly 61% to 498,159 metric tons from 309,886 tons a year earlier because of record soymeal and rapeseed meal shipments, the Solvent Extractors' Association of India said Thursday.
Total oilmeal exports during April-October grew to about 1.9 million tons from 1.5 million tons, the trade body said.
India exports oilmeal mainly to Southeast Asia.
