65,000 litres of adulterated mustard oil seized

Greater Noida, Oct 7 (PTI) Four persons were arrested and 65,000 litres of adulterated mustard oil seized when Dadri police led by Sub Divisional Magistrate raided a premises here today.

The arrested were identified as Ramesh Chand, the owner, and three of his employees -- Anuj, Rakesh and Kishore.

On interrogation, they revealed that they were running the racket for the last six months. They used to mix chemicals with the oil, and then pack it in cartons of the branded companies, police said.

When the police team reached the site, three tankers were found, they said, adding one person managed to escape.
